At Spirit Healthcare we are committed to protecting our planet for our children and the future – it is the only planet we have so we have to protect it.

We will find new ways to reduce wastage, improving our policies and procedures and be irreverent and innovative in how we work to protect our environment.

Examples of our innovative schemes:

• We supply our CareSens N Blood Glucose Monitoring system direct to Pharmacies and Surgeries in a cloth bag, in 1 box containing multiple meters. This reduces the amount of supplied packaging by over 90% without compromising the delivery, safety or integrity of our product.
• We have recently conducted a national marketing campaign, including press in the Daily Record, the Health Service Journal, Nursing Times, the Bauer Radio network and numerous local newspapers, with www.mediabounty.com. As part of this campaign we made a donation to the World Land Trust to secure a section of endangered rain forest. Please See Certificate below.
• We offer a meter recycling service for older glucose meters that healthcare professionals may no longer wish to use.
• All office equipment and consumables that we purchase are from sustainable sources.
